Bab 12: Chapter 9 Vehicles
Alexander created for "The Eggpod" from sonic it is similar in appearance to that of a military jet. It has a central, egg-shaped cockpit with a glass cover and a seat for a single passenger. Instead of wings however, it has a hover ring on both sides. These rings are capable of folding up on the aircraft's sides. It also has a rocket engine on the rear for locomotion and thrust-based jet propulsion. Lastly, the Eggpod has a black and white color scheme with red highlights, as well as black/yellow striped hazard strips on the sides.
The impressive prop features an orange, red and metal-coloured fibreglass body with a black dense rubber seat; a pair of contoured foot pedals; a pair of circular stabilizers on the sides; and a cylindrical rear thruster. The control panel features a pair of adjustable moss green handles and a depressible red button in the centre. The main body has basic LED light panels installed which are currently non-functional. The piece has an integral steel frame that allowed a performer to sit on it for production.
Alexander was checking out Kevin Second generation light cycle.
It has the hallmark thick-wheeled look common to all light cycles, however, it differs from other light cycles in the Tron system in several ways. It had a covered canopy that hinged open to allow rider access through the top. It also appears to be able to travel off the Grid without trouble. Its white color scheme contrasts starkly with the black and color-lit designs of all other vehicles in the system. The most notable feature is that, unlike the original light cycle and the newer incarnations, this light cycle is persistent and does not require a rod or baton to generate it.
Quorra seeing this with slight excitement explained"It is second generation,but still the fastest thing on the Grid.It is Vintage."
Kevin was studying everything and asked Alexander"So have you come up with a way to get out of here?"
Alexander shrugged and replied"I am working on it, but probably take a month since I want to study the Grid."
Kevin was okay with it and said with a elated tone"When I get out of here, I want to meet my son first."but then with worry added"But I fear he will hate me for abandoning him."
Kevin Flynn was trapped inside the Grid for roughly 1,000 years.1 real year = 50 Grid years = 50 cycles.
Alexander smiled and said"I am sure he will forgive you, I mean you never forsaw any of this happening."
Kevin smiled and nodded, but after some thought said"I could kill Clu, but to do it.I will have reintergrate him....I could end all this, but in doing so I will lose my chance to see my son again."
Alexander shook his head and replied"I already have a method figured out to destroy Clu, you will not have to use Reintegration."
Reintegration is the process in which a User physically erases their Program, or more, in the computer world by absorbing their being into them. This process is consequential as the User does not survive it and a giant explosion erupts from it
Alexander added"I will give you my word that you will see your son and get out of here alive."
Kevin smiled at Alexanded and said"I now have hope, kiddo and it is all thanks to you."
He then went back to his room.While Quorra came next to him and sat next to him and with chirpy tone said"I read all the books you gave me.Dan Brown and Tolkein was amazing."
Quorra went on huge talk about her favorite character in LOTR .She turned into a huge Tolkien fan.
Alexander smiled and replied"It's great that you loved it."
Quorra over time started to feel attracted to Alexander, everytime they spent time together her heart fluttered it was great feeling.She knew what this feeling was,but she was shy about accepting.So she asked her fellow ISO gem, who told her to go for it and she was okay with sharing.
So gathering her courage she leaned in and kissed Alexander.It was light sweet kiss on the lip,while Alexander was surprised about this sudden development and was about to tell her about Gem, but Quorra having guessed it said"Gem said she is okay with sharing."
Alexander was now thinking about going back to The Grid to check out how everything is.
