The situation in the ancient towering forest was dire, with the stranded merchants unable to move their carriages due to the fallen tree.

The available thaumaturges and mages, despite their skills, were unable to lift the massive obstruction. Recognizing the need for assistance, they decided to reach out to the city officials in Katalan for help.

However, news arrived that it would take several days for the official help to come. This left the stranded caravan in a state of desperation, as time was of the essence for their businesses.

Among the people within the caravan, only a handful possessed a Vis level of five, which was necessary for manipulating Vis with a higher degree of effect and capability.

Unfortunately, their Aspects did not align with the task at hand, like moving objects or moving earth platforms, rendering their abilities ineffective.
