4.55pm.
I'm back in the living room, now on my knees, leaning on the exercise ball, groaning; sweat trickling down my face.
I'm wearing a strappy top that doesn't cover my bump, and a pair of Kaden's boxers.
Don't judge me! I'm pregnant, and they're comfy!
I've been in labour for over 5 hours and my contractions are every 4 minutes and lasting over 90 seconds.
Make this stop please!
Someone make this go away!
All through my labour my wolf has been murmuring encouraging words; trying to ease my pain and panic.
"Baby, I'm home!" Kaden shouts from the hallway; the front door shutting.
Just then, another contraction hits me hard, making me cry out.
"Holy fucker!" I scream.
I hear Kaden's footsteps as he races in.
"Shit! Kat, you should've called me!" He throws his briefcase on the sofa and pulls off his jacket, rushing over, a phone to his ear.
I whimper, "Kaden! It hurts!"
