Bab 396: Invitation

Hearing Shi Tian's statement and reasoning, Vanessa's mouth was wide open. 

It was as if she wanted to say something, but nothing came out of her.

"I know you found it difficult to swallow, but that's the reality. You are spoiled in Chronosworth City, so you don't have to face such things. But that doesn't mean you should try to bring your ideal upon others or believe others might act like a saint either." Shi Tian smiled softly. 

Being an heir to such a behemoth city, Shi Tian knew that she didn't have to suffer much hardship, given her behavior and personality. 

However, the same cannot be said for others. Others aren't as blessed or fortunate as her and need to struggle to even survive day-to-day.

As for him– Shi Tian didn't even want to talk about the past. 

Every time he began to recall the beginning of the Great Disaster, a wave of regrets and bitterness would rush up.
