Bab 385: Underground

Being scolded harshly by Theobold, Felix could only grit his teeth in silence. 

'Petty mind? More like you have lost your damn courage.' Felix cursed silently, clenching his fist tightly.

"If you still can't understand the situation, then you should go back to being a foot soldier." Theobold waved his hand, dismissing Felix. 

He was too lazy to knock some sense back into Felix's mind. Felix was too fixated on losing his eye as a humiliation, so he needed time now to readjust his mindset. 

Felix could only make a salutation before leaving, knowing that staying would be pointless anyway.

It was clear to him that Theobold had no intention of avenging him.

'Isn't it just because of that Vanessa? Then I just need to make sure she's away from Nathan.' Felix exclaimed inwardly. As irrational as he might be now, Felix understood the eyesore and obstacle of his revenge was Vanessa.
