Tommy arranged a family hunting trip to the hunting grounds of the Southern District of Long Island to avoid Tony being exhausted in Ashley's bed and also to smooth things over with his beloved father-in-law. Just before the motorcade departed, Sophia had just received a call from Susan, who flew to New York herself because Vanessa had taken a leave of absence at the last minute. Worried that Vanessa would be exploited by Spike Lee as free labor, Susan came with Vanessa to Mary Manor to visit Odelia and Sophia after learning the movie's reshoots were over.
