She was simply doing it to ensure her survival for when future events would begin to take place.

Perhaps there were some feelings of guilt that she may have had towards them the more that she made them suffer before they were killed by her but when it came to someone like Eric who was a human being with a life of their own, she was a little hesitant.

She was remembering the previous times that she had to spill the blood of the living whether it was for the sake of survival or the sake of some form of sense of justice and attempting to seek revenge or some other form of personal discovery.

There was more than one reason behind her actions and it could not be simply explained as purely being for the sake of survival or revenge.

Eric saw everything from further away and his eyes began to widen. "Hey... you are scaring me. What are you going to do with those things? Hey, hey, hey! Put that back!"
