Bab 266: True Identity

There was silence on the other side of the call before someone finally spoke. "We failed. The girl got away from us… she did a number on us too when she was getting away."

He leaned closer as his face was shown more clearly in his reflection causing his irritation to be shown. "What? How could you fail?"

The appearance reflected on him showed clearly who he was and Ash would be able to recognize it if she was able to see it.

It was the fighter named Jason who had previously fought against Ash in the fighting event that had finished not too long ago.

He had only been able to make his way back home before he received the call from those he sent after Ash.

It showed that he was behind it just like Ash had been able to guess.

The voice on the other side of the call spoke up again as they sounded quite displeased. "What can I say? It just happened like it did. Perhaps we underestimated her or perhaps we were not enough to get the job done.
