Bab 220: Captives

Richard couldn't help but fear for his life in such a situation but he knew that he could not let himself give up.

He did not have the confidence in himself to be able to skillfully negotiate with others like Samson did but he had to try to do something if it meant escaping their fate.

Samson was not in the best state to handle such things in his current condition so Richard believed that it would be left to him to try and seek out a solution.

While the three of them were trying in their ways to deal with their poor situation, Max waited for others to arrive so that he could leave.

Max was not too deeply involved in the inner workings of the loan business or other things that were usually kept more secretive so his involvement needed to be kept very small.
