Bab 232: Under Revision

Kayden's departure from the mansion was a somber affair. Helena, dressed in a flowing gown of sapphire blue, stood at the entrance, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. Her heart ached with a mixture of fear and longing as she clung to her husband, not wanting to let him go.

"Promise me you'll come back to me," Helena whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

Kayden, resplendent in his armor, held Helena close, his strong arms wrapped around her. "I promise, my love. I'll return to you, safe and sound."

They shared a tender, lingering kiss, their love and worry for each other palpable. Then, with a final look, Kayden stepped away, mounting his horse. His loyal steed was saddled and ready for the long journey that lay ahead.
