Bab 192: He Came To Rescue

Louis fired those earlier shots. He swooped in like a superhero when things got crazy.

Alicia thought she was dreaming. But the handsome guy staring at her was too real to be a dream.

Without wasting time, she sprinted towards Louis. She almost leaped, grabbing his sleeve. With eyes wide and wet from surprise, she blurted out, "How'd you get here?"

In a split second, she went from scared to excited. She got so lost in her feelings that she forgot she still held a gun.

Guns could be dangerous if one didn't know how to use them. One wrong move could lead to a disaster.

Always calm, Louis took the gun from her, locked it, and said, "Our team has an office in New York. I'm here until you finish your painting, then I'm headed back."

Alicia blinked, "Really?"

"Yep, all planned. I just arrived and was about to meet Mr. Boyer when your bodyguard sent a signal. I got here as quick as I could, luckily not too late."
