"Understood, Mr. Martinez," the assistant said, getting ready to leave to make a phone call.
But Louis stopped him, saying, "Anderson and Ethan is missing. We need two extra bodyguards to secretly look out for Alicia. They have to be trustworthy."
"I'm on it, Mr. Martinez."
Once the assistant was gone, Louis put his hand up to rub his pounding forehead. Anger was building up inside him, causing a splitting headache, a leftover symptom of his concussion. He felt sick to his stomach and like he was going to throw up.
He put his hand on his chest, trying to push down the sick feeling. There was a sharp pain in his heart. The pain from the knife cut on his arm was nothing compared to this heartache. He couldn't believe that Alicia had cuddled with Chuck while he was out cold.
Chuck, walking around her place with no shirt on, had the nerve to show off. Louis felt embarrassed, betrayed, and played with. He couldn't keep his cool.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
