Chuck sensed that something was bothering Alicia and casually mentioned, "You gave me two paintings, so it's only fair that I help you."

His reasoning seemed good enough, and Alicia thought she might be overthinking things. Chuck continued, "Plus, it's not just me helping you. Once you finish your training, you'll be great at fixing old paintings and ceramics. I might need your help then."

Hearing this, Alicia immediately felt more comfortable. She smiled and said, "Mr. Hanson, you're so nice."

Chuck's face got a little serious as he replied, "Just call me Chuck from now on. 'Mr. Hanson' is too formal."

Even though he said that, Alicia didn't dare to get too friendly with him. She knew Louis would be jealous. He protected her from Chuck like he was a thief, and she didn't want to make him mad.
