Bab 41: Chapter 41 Divorce No More

Alicia's view was blocked by the umbrella, making it hard for her to see the road. She noticed the umbrella covering her completely, while Louis's clothes got soaked in the rain. She raised her hand and nudged the umbrella handle towards him.

Louis instinctively looked over at the broken bridge. Chuck had vanished like a flash. He quietly breathed a sigh of relief and pulled Alicia closer. It was then that he realized he had been scared of losing her. It was the first time he had ever felt that way, and it made himself a bit surprised.

By the time they got back to her grandpa's house, it was already noon. The two of them quickly grabbed a bite to eat. Worn out and drowsy, Alicia walked into the bedroom, undressed, and wanted to catch some Zs. Over the past few days, she had barely slept due to her sorrow.
