Nathaniel had planned this date several weeks in advance, he knew of a new restaurant opening in the outskirts of the city.

It was owned by a homegrown talent who had come to become one of the most prominent chefs in the country.

He had Clark reserve the entire restaurant for his and Maya's date a day before the opening event.

As they walked into the empty restaurant Maya gasped as she took in the interior.

"Mr. De La Rue, Miss Miller," the chef said as he greeted them.

"Chef Gaston, thank you for accepting my request," Nathaniel greeted as he guided Maya toward the young chef.

"How could I not accept, Mr. De La Rue?" Chef Gaston asked. "You not only offered quite a sum, but your identity is one I cannot ignore."

Nathaniel simply smiled and nodded at the man.

What was most important was how much Maya adored the place.
