Bab 158: He Knows?

Maya began to hyperventilate in Nathaniel's arms.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing, what Nathaniel's people had uncovered. Her cousin and her once best friend were working together, possibly to set a trap for her.

"Take a deep breath, Maya," Nathaniel whispered in her ear as she watched Clark professionally give them some space and privacy by working on his tablet and typing away on his phone.

She was certain that Nathaniel already set him in motion, asking him to investigate Gary and Oliver's relationship.

Did their plots and plans end with seducing Maya? With entrapping her in a scandal? Or did it go further?

She knew that her cousin desperately wanted to be named heir to Miller Industries despite him not being a direct descendant of the current CEO. 

Even his paternity was in question due to the fact that his mother was not the most loyal woman. She was also fairly certain that her Uncle, Harold, was most probably a Miller.
