Bab 152: Confessions on the Dance Floor

Maya was stunned as Nate spun her around the dance floor, her expression schooled not to reveal what she was thinking.

"Speak to me, Maya," he whispered as his breath brushed against her ear, making her shiver involuntarily.

Where was she even supposed to start?

He said he had a mission, he wasn't supposed to be here.

"Is this your mission?" she asked. "Did he put you up to this?" 

Maya did her best to keep her voice low as other couples closed in on them.

"No," Nate said as he gave her a playful smile.

He didn't bother to explain as they continued to dance. Maya watched him as he held her close and moved gracefully with her in his arms.

She never pegged him to be a dancer, in fact, she never imagined him to be interested in anything related to the arts.
