Bab 134: Wiser Than Rumors

It broke Nathaniel's heart to hear Maya cry about the punishment she had just served Cassandra. 

The woman had hurt her and her employees, and yet Maya had such a big heart that hurting someone brought her to tears. 

He desperately wished that he could be there with her, that he could hold her and comfort her himself, but he was in the office and he had pressing matters to address.

Nathaniel watched as Gabriel played with the toys they had brought. He felt a guilty pang as he watched the little boy entertain himself. 

He couldn't help but now regret not asking Katerina if Eric could come along. Just like Eric it was clear that Gabriel lacked the company of another child his age. 

The day had been incredibly busy as people tried to cram into his busy schedule.

Since Nathaniel couldn't work during normal hours, all meetings with the CEO of DLR Enterprises had to be held at night or on Saturdays.
