The police had to drag the stunned Cassandra out of the venue, it seemed that she had not expected to be faced with someone so powerful and influential. 

Nathaniel grinned as he watched Maya run over to Katerina and hug his friend and lawyer. 

It seemed that the two women had planned this. 

"Impressive," Nathaniel said as he slowly clapped as they approached him.

His bodyguards slowly moved away as the threat of Cassandra was now gone. Eric and Gabriel quickly clung onto his legs as their mothers approached.

"I took a page from your and Cedric's book," Katerina winked at Nathaniel, making him grin.

Before he could do anything, he saw Christian Hamel looking around. Everyone was avoiding him now and Nathaniel decided to take advantage of his predicament.

"Stay with your moms, I'll join you later," he told the two boys as he quickly planted a kiss on Gabriel's head and gave Katerina and Maya a nod.
