Bab 95: Breakfast

When Maya opened her eyes she could feel the unusually soft bed and the sheets that smelled like him. She lived in opulence and comfort in the Miller household, but this was nothing like it, this was more.

It took her a few moments to remember where she was and why she was there. She sat up in horror as she recalled how embarrassing it had been to push him away and then break down in his arms again. 

She had even gone as far as to seek comfort from him after everything.

Maya buried her head in her hands as she suffered the humiliation of what she had done. 

She had no idea how long she had been sitting in bed when three soft knocks drew her attention from her thoughts.

"Maya?" his warm familiar voice called out, filled with kindness. "Maya, are you up?"
