Bab 459: Helping Royal Guard Healing
Because of how important it is, Ryker received permission to fly inside the capital, something that is aired to the other guards, making their journey smooth.
Of course, having the Crown Prince and one of the captain of royal guard, a peak Noble expert, make such transition easier. They arrive at the mansion in 20 minutes, where the dual-haired man pushed everyone away in favor of putting the two knocked out guards on the bed.
"I will call a Formation Master. Maybe he can create something that will help them heal up, a formation that can transfer vitality to them. I also have to call my sister and cousin. Hopefully they will not react too badly about this," Lariz said, though he expected them to act more hysterically.
"Sure. You handle that while I talk to my own family about my new jobs. Hopefully they won't kill me for this," they might be weaker than him, but his lovers would absolutely make his live horrible if he cross the line.

Thankfully, they are understanding. More so when they see how the two suffered from the aphrodisiac they are forced to consume.
So, they let him stay in the room turned into makeshift infirmary, with an energy-gathering formation inside of it so he can replenish his qi faster. This allow him to ensure they are constantly sourced with life qi, ensuring their health will not deteriorate as time goes by.

The next day, both Brya and Dory visited their unconscious guard. Surprisingly, they did not scream at him for failing to protect them. Then again, they likely heard the full account from the Crown Prince.
While the two are busy dealing with the people inside the hideout, Ryker was busy beating up 3 Half-Nobles and one 1st Stage Noble into a bloody pulp. That took precedent and he truly did not suspect there to another Noble expert in the hideout.
Though, it does feel awkward being there while the princesses look at their guards slash friends, being like some sort of fifth wheel. Thankfully, the feeling of awkwardness did not get to bad, just that he wish for the antidote to be found so he no longer need to do this.

He so received new information from the royal alchemist and the President. Unfortunately, there is no good news.
"The so called 'antidote' the bandit develop is addictive, and it's effect will get worse with each subsequent use. He likely did not want them to leave him, so he make it so they will always need the drugs, until it no longer worked, and he would be done with them, either letting the poison do the dirty work, or killing them himself," the President told them with a Grimm tone.
"Can you make an antidote?" Dory asked, desperate for any good news.
"Normally, yes, but I don't know what kind of ingredients he used for the aphrodisiac. I can make some guesses for most of it but if I guess wrong, it could make the effect even worse," the President told her, making her plop down with a defeated look.
"Surely he wrote the ingredients and instructions somewhere. Even if its not inside the storage ring, at least in one of the many documents we got from the hideout," the Crown Prince said, hoping to get some good news for the two.
Unfortunately, their luck is just not good at the moment. "... Nothing. None of the men find anything resembling written ingredients inside the document. Most of it is the plan to attack the resource caravans," the captain exclaimed.
"Same on my part. There is nothing written. He must have keep the method inside his head, so he would be the only one that create the potion. We just have to get it out of him," the President said with a dark tone.
The visitors, all observing and making sure the two guards are fine then disperse, though Dory and Brya stayed, as they decided to stay inside the mansion until their guards are fine.

"Nothing?" Ryker asked Lariz, who let out a sigh.
"He must have known how important the two are, and knew that we will valued his life, or at least the information he hold. He essentially used his knowledge as hostage, making it near impossible for the torturers to get it out of him, as giving the information out would mean his death.
In fact, when the torture get too much, he told them he would erupt his Soul, essentially turning him into a walking corpse, and making sure the information would be lost forever," Ryker could understand why the other man looked so tired.
With how every attempt to heal the two meet a dead end, he will have to take the drastic option just to have a chance of getting them out alive. Which would be hard, as the value of a Noble bandit is greater than the life of two peak Genesis Sea guards, even if they possess great chance to ascend to the next Grand Realm.

Ryker finally get some sleep, being forced to stay awake for a week straight is draining him mentally. If it just meditation and cultivating, it might not be an issue, but he needs to continuously channel life qi to the two comatose guards, draining him slowly despite the presence of energy-gathering formation.
Yet, he was soon woken up three hours later by the buzzing of his communication token, which shook strong enough he could feel it almost tearing his arm.
He quickly make his way towards the makeshift infirmary, to see the two convulsing even worse. Gritting his teeth to not let out any curses, Ryker get besides them before chanelling his life qi, slowly stabilizing them.
Though, as he did so, the healer, who was there to monitor the guards condition, began to realize an issue.
"My lord," he said to Ryker. After all, he might be a Noble expert, but he is just in the 1st Stage. The man in front of him snacks on people of his level.
"There should be some kind of parasitic ingredients inside the two. You constantly bestowing them life qi saved their life, but also make the parasite inside them get even stronger," he said with a grave tone.
"What?" Ryker said in a whisper, just learning such dangerous information.
"It might be by design. The parasite in question is likely harmless inside the aphrodisiac, but once ingested, it would effect the health of the one that consumed it. If I have to guess, the so called antidote but placate the parasite and make things worse for the one that ingest it. Making it addictive will only help kill the women that forced to drink the aphrodisiac faster,"
