Bab 397: Ascending To Genesis Sea
"Such strong energy wave," the Crown Prince exclaimed. He could feel the raging energy, all heading towards the center that is Ryker.
"It seem so. He seem to devour more than enough energy to help many other reached the Genesis Sea, maybe even ascending the 3rd Stage was enough with this amount of energy," the guard replied.
"But it make sense. After all, he was able to handle a half-Noble expert while at the Genesis Lake. One of the reason must be his larger than most qi reserves. The other would be the techniques in his disposals while the third reason is the amount of Path he mastered," the Crown Prince listed out.
"If that is the case, it's likely would take some time before he breakthrough, your Excellency. Are you sure you want to stay here?" the guard asked.
"Of course. While some of the troublesome monsters is no trouble at all, there are some that could be a good challenge for me," he then eyed a Tier 1 Spirit Beast.
Similar to the Genesis Beast, Spirit Beast also have 9 Tier, though there are different name for every three tiers, from the weakest to the strongest, are Noble Beast, Sovereign Beast and the strongest, Saint Beast, all equivalent to the major realm of the Spirit Realm.
While most beast at the Spirit Realm at the outer territory are often referred to as Spirit Beast, as there is no Sovereign Beast or higher being forbade, Saint Beast there, there are Sovereign Beasts in the central territory of Birak Kingdom.
So, at the central territory, the Spirit Beast are referred to their strength instead of the collective form of Spirit Beast.
"One Noble beast that is in the initial stage, I think I can handle it," the Crown Prince then summoned 2 Noble Tower, smiling viciously at the beast as he charged at it.

"I need more," ignoring the battle happening near him, Ryker is focusing more in his cultivation. After all, he need a lot of energy to ascend to the next major realm.
"Just some more," he could feel the bottleneck will be broken as he absorbed more energy. He is grateful to find such place and that the Crown Prince allowed him to cultivate here and even protect him.
He planned on paying back the man but first, his cultivation. He could feel the barrier around his Genesis Lake slowly breaking, as cracks appeared as more energy poured into the Lake, overflowing it.
"Just need a little more," he then took out the object Sophia gave him, a core of an Energy Vein, and one large one too.
The energy from the core seem to be the breaking point, as he could feel the barrier to the Genesis Sea breaking.
'This is it,' he thought as he began to absorb more energy into his body, refining it and expending the Lake, gradually transforming it into a sea.
Of course, he is not planning on letting the energy from the core go to waste, as he focused on absorbing it to the finish.
As his Genesis Lake transformed into a full-fledged sea, he began to control it, preventing his cultivation from collapsing. Similar to the Genesis Spring and Genesis Lake, he need to make sure the qi reserves did not leave his Sea, or it will ruin his cultivation.
His control stop it from happening as he slowly formed the barrier of his Genesis Sea. It will took some time, but time is in his favor, or he hope so.

"So, he's stabilizing his cultivation," the guard reported to the Crown Prince, who is currently leaning on a broken tree.
"Is that so? How long do you reckon he will take?" the prince asked the guard.
"Who knew? After all, his massive qi reserve might be his undoing," the guard said honestly.
"True, but if he managed to stabilize it, then he will be far stronger than any half-Noble expert," the Crown Prince had a smile on his face as he state the fact.

'And, done!' Ryker sighed in relief. With his cultivation stabilized, he no longer need to worry about his qi reserve leaving his body. With his main concern now out of the way, he could sense he was close to another breakthrough.
Taking the chance to do so, Ryker absorbed the remaining core, as well as the surrounding energy.

"It seem he will have another breakthrough," the guard exclaimed, having some interest to the young man that he survived the breakthrough.
"So, he will reach the 2nd Stage. He might be able to contend with a 1st Stage Noble expert if that is the case," the Crown Prince guessed.
"Only one way to find out,"

When he finished his cultivation, he could tell he had reached the 2nd Stage of Genesis Sea. He looked around to find the Crown Prince when he heard someone behind a boulder.
He looked at the boulder to see a writing on it.
'I give you a newly ascended Spirit Beast for you to fight. It's that giant raven over there. Good luck,'
He turned to see the beast mentioned by the Crown Prince. The raven shriek, it's aura at the Spirit Realm, just as the Crown Prince say.
He could feel his brows twitching like crazy, "Thank you for the gift, Your Excellency," he said while gritting his teeth.
"Looks like I will deal with you first,"

From behind the boulder, the Crown Prince and the guard watched as Ryker battled against the raven. It did not take long before he began to overwhelm the Spirit Beast, showing his strength is more than enough to deal with a 1st Stage Noble expert.
"Truly unbelievable. This is the first time I see a Noble Beast getting beaten up by the Genesis Realm expert," the guard muttered.
"And he's only at the 2nd Stage. If he reach the peak, or even at Half-Noble realm, he could probably even fight a 6th Stage Noble," the Crown Prince exclaimed.
"It's likely if for every 2 stage, he can handle a Noble expert with one minor realm stronger," the guard did not agreed just yet, as it might not be like that, but he keep his mind open.
Soon, Ryker grabbed the raven beast's leg and threw it to the ground, before swinging his sword he managed to take out, decapicating the beast with a single blow.
"And he seem to possess mastery in the Lore of Sword, maybe at the Elementary Understanding," the guard said, watching as Ryker walked towards them.
