To his surprise, the entire journey could be described as one thing, easy. Even if there are some beasts and bandits blocking his way on a few occasions, his current strength is more than enough to handle them.
He still proceeds with caution though, as there is no telling how many powerful bandits are near the capital.
"If I use my full speed, along with the Law of Space, then I could reach the capital in 2 days or less. But doing so will make my position clear to the bandits.
If I use the Shadow Traversing Technique, then it will be safer and it will take a lot longer to reach the capital,"
He mused to himself, thinking which of the two methods he should use when going towards the capital city. In the end, he decided to be safe and used the Shadow Traversing method, one that is both takes a long time and very tiring, his use of qi would reduce his speed greatly.
He did wonder what his family was doing. He hopes they didn't leave the Duchy or it will make things very difficult for him

"That man come here again?" Mashia asked Era, who nodded glumly.
"He is so annoying. I've already said I'm not interested but he still keeps trying to court me!" she replied, her voice rising to the point of screaming by the end of her sentence.
"Huh, I hope Ryker could escape that place. Then we will have someone that will stop him," Mashia sighed.
She then remembered the time she asked the four eldest on how they knew their older brother was still alive. They had told her of a special artifact in their possession, one telling if any of them were in danger or dead.
The little artifact is called Life Lamp. As long as the user is still alive, the lamp will be alight. Ryker's still alight meaning he is still alive. Hence, they have hope of him coming back to them, after all, he is the type to cause miracles.
"Are you going out again?" Ina asked this time, looking at Era with worry.
"Yeah, didn't we agree to rotate between who will help the Duke?" she replied.
Ina merely grimaced. The Duke wanted to compensate for them, considering Ryker supposedly lost his life doing something to help. Hence, an agreement between them.
The Duke will make sure the group is protected. In return, they became his servants in name, helping a specific duty. They did a double rotation, three persons a day becoming the Duke's servant.
Thankfully, the job is simple, with the exception of the secretary duty that Shuri and Miriam did, the former having some experience with such work and the latter being the most intelligent out of all his lovers.
The other four did a simple job, cleaning the mansion, helping prepare food for the Duke, and as such. Unfortunately, it was during Era's duty that the young master of Mortola Family came to talk to the Duke.
He had spotted Era and had become smitten on sight. He then tried to make a move on her, continuously trying to woo her despite her rejecting him.
The young man even tried to be physical and was only stopped by a guard arriving at the scene. Since then, the young man has kept trying to make advance despite her constantly rejecting him.
"Maybe we should turn things around, so you won't be harassed anymore," Shuri suggested. However, Era shook her head.
"We all know what kind of person the young master is. If he spots another beauty, then he will try to make a move on her too. Let me be the only one that is his target,"
All of the others grimaced at the prospect of sending her to the wolf, but considering the other options, her sacrifice meant only one of them had to deal with the young master.
"Alright, but be careful and always make sure to be in the presence of another person, preferably a guard or Hylla," Shuri advised, the other woman nodded in understanding.
Era then left, ready to deal with another filled with the presence of an annoyance that had been bugging her for almost a month now.

"Hello, beautiful," Era groaned inwardly, though outside, she had a grimacing smile, one that looked like she had just eaten a lemon before trying to smile.
She ignored the man, knowing it was the best option for now. Inwardly, she asked why did he have to be interested in her. The only good thing is that the young man could only come once a week to drop reports of his current station.
With the more powerful and older experts being sent to the frontline, the backline is guarded by the younger generation, whose cultivation sometimes can compete with some of the older generation.
The young master of Mortola Family had been sent to keep a watch of a guard detachment, overseeing the defenses of a portion of the eastern walls.
The other heirs and young masters of the other great families also oversee some detachment, the only difference is the location of their post and how many troops are in their command.
Because of how important their post is, they need to report to the Duke once a week. The young master had been taking that chance to approach her, and Hylla, the latter however seemed to be more important than it seemed as the Duke had personally given the young master a black eye for giving Hylla a perverted look.
She had been asked by the Duke if she wanted any assistance with such a pest, but she denied, that doing so would cause more questions and lead to some very troublesome scenario in the future.
When she denied his help, the Duke had tried to make sure that the time the young man arrived would not coincide with the time she was working.
Unfortunately, he seems to have insider information, telling him of the time Era work, making their meeting a certainty. She did what she did often when in the young man's presence, pretend like he didn't exist.
Unfortunately, it seems to not work for today as the man seems intent on making her his. He grabbed her wrist before shoving her to the wall, a wicked smile forming on his face.
"I don't like to do this to someone as pretty as you, but with how you constantly denied me what I want, I don't mind giving you some bruises," she squirmed away, trying to break free of the man's hold, yet his strength is far superior, making her attempts futile.
He seemed to enjoy watching her fight in what his mind was a pointless struggle. Before he could even do anything else, however, he received a message from his subordinates.
