Bab 290: Which Side?

Ye Qing Xin was eating the cakes that Su Ming Yuan had bought for her happily when she recalled that his mother was a fan of sweet treats. She put down the small fork in her hand and looked at Su Ming Yuan with hesitation. "Should we leave some for your mother?"

"It's alright. I already sent a box to her. You can eat those desserts with ease." A hint of a smile appeared on his face, knowing that his girlfriend was still thinking of his mother.

Hearing his words, Ye Qing Xin continued to eat her desserts again. 

Then, Ye Qing recalled that it had been a while since she had spent time with Su Rui. With that in thought, Ye Qing Xin made a mental reminder to call Su Rui out and have some cakes and tea together.

After a spoonful of the strawberry mousse cake, Ye Qing Xin looked up. "Is it alright for you to stay around? Didn't you say that you are busy?

"The elders had something to do today. So everyone else can leave earlier," Su Ming Yuan said.
