Bab 627: The talk of the empire

Around the same time when Muyang was packing and getting ready to go for the trip, Yan Daya's maids were packing her luggage as well. For a woman who claimed to be going for a business meeting, she sure packed a lot more transparent lingerie than suits. It seemed as if she was foing for a honeymoon.

She was excited and humming, one would think that all was rosy in the Yan family. If one went beyond the walls of her bedroom, they would find sad, grieving, anxious, scared and tense faces.

Some of the maids could not help but think, 'What kind of person is this? Her cousin has died and her grandfather is in the hospital in what doctor's called a hopeless coma. How can she be smiling and humming happily right now?

But, they kept their questions and judgmental eyes to themselves because Yan Daya could be quite cruel when she was angered.
