Bab 349: I want them gone

"Great, you are finally home; we have been waiting for you."

Chi Lian almost squealed when her mother grabbed her and pulled her to her grandmother's bedroom forcefully. She had just reached home and not even had a moment's rest.

Her plan to bathe and then meet old tiger who had gone to do some recon on the Danzhi gallery but this was apparently coming first.

"What do you think happened?" In her mind, she asked T4.

"I don't know what it is but it's probably related to the locked door seeing how anxious your mother is."

Her grandmother's bedroom smelled like sage, it smelled as if someone had recently conducted a cleansing ritual.

Chi Lian was familiar with this smell. In her teenage years, she used to have nightmares about her parents and she would wake up sweaty and shivering. Her friend had taken her to a 'psychic' that Chi Lian was convinced was a crook and the psychic gave her sage for burning and cleansing her aura.
