Bab 327: Her guts paid off

Chi Lian rolled her eyes and punched Muyang's shoulder softly. In her mind she wondered what had made Muyang come to this conclusion. Did he think she was a fragile as a cotton stuffed doll which ripped apart easily if one pulled too hard?

Looking at him with her hands crossed across her chest she asked him, "Jun Muyang, have you forgotten that we both took the gene editing serum? However strong you are, I can easily match you. We have been working out a lot and learning how to control our strength. If we have not hurt the people around us, then we certainly won't hurt each other."

"Chi-Chi," he called her in a voice that begged her to understand him.

"Do you want to fight it out and test your theory on how fragile I am?" she asked him with fierceness in her eyes. "Should I find something to shatter as well so that you believe my words?"

She looked around his office for anything unimportant that she could destroy with little or no consequences.
