Bab 315: Betrayal in the family

The atmosphere was quite suffocating and more than one person looked ready to hurl. 

Old master Wang unfolded the piece of paper in his hands and looked around slowly at the members of the family that were gathered.

"Do you know what I am holding in my hands right now?"

Some people replied no, others shook their heads while most just looked on in confusion. One of them, Wang Tong thought to herself, 'we are not wizards, how are supposed to know what is written on a piece of paper we have never seen before?'

Old master Wang handed the paper to Bolin who folded it and held it tightly in his hands despite his mother looking at him with curious eyes.

"Each one of you here knows the values of our family." Old Wang said. "I would ask you to recite them but now is not the time. Right now, we are gathered here because a member of this family broke our most sacred code."
