Bab 738: Islinda Was Back?

Aldric's hand shot out instinctively, grabbing Azula and yanking her towards him. In a single swift motion, he spun her beneath him, his body pinning hers to the bed. Azula's eyes widened in surprise, her breath catching as she found herself trapped under his intense gaze. 

Hovering over her, Aldric's eyes were dark with fury, his chest heaving as he struggled to rein in his anger. His proximity and the forceful grip he had on her wrists communicated a clear message: he was on the brink of losing control. How dare she invade his space, using Islinda's body no less, as if she owned it!

Azula, however, was not reacting the way Aldric anticipated. Rather than fear or defiance, her expression softened, her eyes taking on a dreamy, infatuated glint. The closeness, the dominance he exuded—it all seemed to fascinate her. Her lips curved into a smile that was unsettlingly genuine.
