Bab 311: Fae Can't Lie

"Meow," Prince Wayne stood at the entrance as if he had been waiting for Islinda to arrive all this while. 

"Wayne!" She picked up the cat from the ground and crushed it against her chest. 

"Meow," 

"Yes, I missed you too, my baby," Islinda said as the sweet kitty rubbed up against her, purring and relaxing against her. 

 "Meow!" 

"I know, I know I failed my promise this time. It won't happen again," Islinda communicated with the cat as if she could tell what it was saying. No, she couldn't read cat language, but instinct and the cat's body language, perhaps this was the bond the Fae told her about. 

She carried Prince Wayne in her arms and went in, only to trip on something. Islinda frowned when she found out that it was her clothes from last night.
