Bab 54: Sophia Theodore

As the snap echoed through the air, the girl who had been the vessel for Lascivia snapped out of her daze. Her eyes widened, and a bewildered expression overcame her face. 

She blinked several times, as if emerging from a trance, and slowly became aware of her surroundings. 

"Eh?" 

Lucien's heart skipped a beat as he realized they were still locked in their intimate exchange of saliva. His face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and surprise, and he hastily pulled away. 

The girl's cheeks turned a shade of crimson, and she stammered, "Wha-what just happened? I... I feel like I was in a dream or something." 

Lucien hastily forced a laugh and feigned innocence. "Haha, I was just wondering the same thing," he said, his gaze shifting across the room. To his relief, he noticed that everyone else appeared equally perplexed, mirroring the confusion displayed by the girl. "Seems like everyone is going through the same experience."
