Bab 298: THE SOLDIERS

Lucas was in his study room writing a letter to one of the magistrates, when Aire flew in through the window before quickly transforming to a human.

"I believe you have something for me" Lucas raised his head to see Aire that have come.

"Yes Milord. Forgive me Sire but I couldn't trace Milady whereabouts. It was almost like she's non existent" Aire replied with a bowed head in apology.

"That isn't the only thing, Is it?" Lucas observed.

"Yes Sire. The soldiers of Eugene are already marching down to euphoria" Aire said with a nervous look.

"Already? How long will it take before they reach euphoria?"

"Estimatly Two days. It seems like they have been on the road for about three days now. I last saw them along the Red river, Their horses sire were drinking and they seem to be resting. They came in great numbers. I'm afraid we are outnumbered" Aire reported.

"For how many years have you been by my side?" Asked Lucas.

"More than two hundred years master"
