Bab 173: SHE'S TOO GOOD FOR ME

Magdalene looked very confused and scared. Her eyes adjusted to the light and only then could she make do of their faces. Lord Lucas, Roderick and lady Anastasia were all in her room.

"Lord Lucas?" She asked unsure of her surrounding before looking at the others who threw pity glances at her and left knowing that Lucas would want to be alone with the girl.

"Why am I all held up?" She Asked seeing the chains on her both hands except her legs.

Lucas didn't answer her question, he just removed the key from his pocket before unlocking the chains. Magdalene rubbed her wrist that was now red with bruises from the chain.

"What's going on?" Magdalene asked nervously.

"I found you on the floor last night. You hurt your head and they were some other bodies around you" Lucas explained and magdalene nodded to him.
