Bab 134: EVERYONE LOVES YOU

Magdalene made her way to the dinning table and greeted a good morning to Lady Anastasia and her husband including lady Morgan and Christine. She took her seat and noticed that Lucas, Roderick, and Cordelia were absent. She wondered where they were but didn't probe further.

The servants began to serve the food and they ate silently until Morgan decided to ask.

"How are you feeling now Magdalene?" She said with a sweet smile.

"Better" Magdalene replied knowing that the lady was talking about last night.

"I saw that you were very tired and couldn't wait to leave the banquet last night" She said.

Magdalene felt a little uncomfortable because she knew that the lady was trying to hint at the way she had rudely left. It wasn't that she didn't feel guilty already, she knew she had acted rashly and out of place which was totally unlike her, she had thought about apologizing anyway.
