Bab 109: BANQUET 3

Councilman Adolf looked nervously at Lord Norman trying to understand what was going on. He'd heard the story of Magdalene. He heard she was a simple village girl that the Lord had taken fancy to. Someone to warm his bed all in the pretence of being a guardian.

"Pardon me Milord but what did you mean to say?" He asked Lord Norman.

All though he wasn't from Westendorf, he knew very well not to offend the Lord.

"I want you to tell everyone what you just said to me" Said Norman with a smirk on his face

Adolf was so confused he didn't know whether to say it or not. Was the Lord teasing him or was he serious?. One couldn't understand what Lord Norman was thinking seeing that he always wore a smirk.

"Please don't delay this gathering. Just say the words to the people, that's all" Lord Norman said.

Many people began to murmur against themselves, they wonder what Adolf had said and why the Lord wanted him to say it out to everyone.
