Bab 104: Her mate from the past.

Sydney followed the cubs all around after confirming with the warriors that the place was safe and had no lingering threats.

What she encountered twenty minutes however left her shocked.

She gasped and stepped back in horror at what was before her eyes. On the ground lay a heavily wounded male in his human form. He had no tail nor ears on him hence she couldn't distinguish which beast he was.

The cubs that had followed after Sydney stayed behind Sydney as they looked at the wounded male since they were the ones that led her here after following the scent of blood.

Sydney looked around but realised they were far away from the warriors, she came and knelt before the wounded male and checked his pulse. It was weak.

She removed her skin coat and covered him around his waist then turned him over to lay in his back so she could assess his wounds.
