I'd always abhorred the men who took no time, who treated women as vessels for nothing other than their own pleasure. But my appetite for Zara was insatiable, a hunger that would not ease and I found myself suddenly driven to possess her in ways and places I would normally have found so… unrefined.

The bed was mere feet away. I could have carried her there in seconds. Yet the need burned so brightly, even that short delay felt insurmountable.
