Tulis ulasanFirst Review ever because it is really worth it.It's an amazing novel with top-quality content and consistent chapters, I think the novel has some unique and intriguing ideasOverall, I think the novel is great, and I hope the author continues with this novel.A cold and ruthless mc who is also smart.#No-Coward #NO-HAREM/Romance try it, and you will enjoy this novel for sure.
Hey everyone, the story has been here for a while. I write this new review because I've rewritten the first volume, or more specifically, chapters 25-30, due to my own preferences. After editing, Ken is not a villain in the first volume, so don't come here crying about the villain tag without reading the second volume. My definition of a villain is someone who harms or kills innocent others for their own selfish reasons and benefit. If that's not enough for you, you can call Ken an antihero, I don't really care. Other than that, I will go over what I said in my first review (which I will leave so you can read the 23 replies on it if you want although they will be summarized here). 1. Although MC is intelligent in general, understanding is the most important part of his intelligence. Understanding cultivation and techniques in order to improve them and advance fast. He doesn't know the future, and he is neither Kira nor Lelouch. 2. MC is still young and not immune to developing emotions toward others. Some are positive, some are negative. I do my best to develop his character in a unique and realistic way. 3. Companions - MC is not the only long-term character in the story. 4. Criticism - His villainous actions were quite sudden and came from nowhere. Irrelevant now after editing the first volume. 5. Criticism - Indeed, the first volume focuses on Ken's growth with limited action, especially towards its conclusion. However, subsequent volumes ramp up the action as he ventures out. I believe the first volume's depth in character development is just as captivating, even without the intense action, and it helps us get attached to Ken. 6. No romance, no harem. 7. While familiar cultivation concepts appear in the first volume, it's primarily focused on explaining the power system and sect structure, not assuming prior reader knowledge. In subsequent volumes, as the MC interacts more with the external world, the background and world-building become increasingly detailed and enriched. By the way, the volumes are short, four volumes over by chapter 190 or so. 8. If you're confused by the power system (which isn't too complicated), you can easily find a summary in the auxiliary chapter. Just don't read Ken's techniques which appear later if you don't want any spoilers. That's it for this review, I think I covered everything. Hope it wasn't unnecessarily long!
Has the heart of a great story but lacks depth. For a cultivation novel to truly bloom, one needs careful planning, astute details and masterful execution. When the author refers to Contribution points as CP it lowers the scene, ripping of the curtains of the play. When the author makes MC fights, the words used are an after thought as if the author just wants us to know how the fight happened. We don’t want to know about the fight- we want to experience the fight. The author needs to be our eyes ears touch taste and smell. Not a recap on what happened. To tell more about the writing of the story; it is like being told the events of what happened instead of the author setting the scene, and inviting the reader to immerse themselves into a world of his own creation Although the story is good, the author didnt give me a desire to put my heart in the characters nor place my self in the role of MC. Even the way the words are laid out, I just feel… indifference.
This isn't a villain novel (He cares about his parents, gets betrayed by a maid, goes on a killing frenzy after two girls he barely knows die), it's basically the usual trash don't be tricked by the reviews.
Railvas has the novel one wish to own the world been dropped and if not when are you updating it
Good start but lousy thereafter. --------- Why is it a good story? - Good story progression and a clear direction for the plot. - Characters are numerous with their own personality. - MC is 'smart' and ruthless. - Events are properly done. - Writing is excellent. ---------------------------- What's bad about it? - It gets boring after the first 2 volumes (63 chapters). - It's almost predictable and events aren't thrilling. - The pacing also doesn't help in the latter volumes, they start getting more lengthy in descriptions and author just doesn't get to the point and conclusion. The first two volumes (63 chapters) were nice. The third volume was slow. The fourth volume was slow. Author started doing the thing that Chinese authors love to do: padding words. Some points are repeated and a lot of paragraphs are redundant. Author could've just written one sentence or at most one paragraph to give us the idea (like the first volume, where author just gave us the point without sacrificing quality nor the readers time and reading experience). - MC is supposedly super smart, we get that he's smart through how he makes techniques and all the other things. BUT, his thought process and logical thinking is hardly smart. It would be more accurate to make his power deduction on techniques and picking up skills fast, but not smart. Being smart means that the dude would think in highly efficient ways and come up with ideas and use his deduction and process information in a smart manner. It's just that his thoughts when he thinks to himself don't project him as smart. - Character interactions are meh. I just think it's not realistic, and it doesn't take a smart guy to think something is fishy or weird with the interactions. I agree with no harem, but that doesn't mean there can't be people that fall for MC. Author, what's the point of his ethereal beautiful face if he doesn't use it to manipulate others?
I really enjoy this story. Please don't drop it and continue it. I appreciate your work and thank you for this novel
Exelente [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend][img=coins][img=coins][img=coins][img=coins][img=coins][img=coins]
Excellent concept. However, there are too many times where information in the story cancels out each other. For example, an intelligence where being able to see through anything is near-omniscience, and if this ability were true to its name, the MC wouldn’t have to learn how to cultivate or anything of that matter. He would just think of it, and immediately know what it is, how to do it, and how to perform adequately in it. Moreover, the author mentioned the god in the story being omniscient and omnipresent, and if that were true as well, they wouldn’t have mortal emotions like annoyance at the mc’s behavior. Sure, it’s in there for the effect of the story, but the actual abilities are not portrayed properly. Everything else, apart from the abilities being downplayed, is fine. I recommend giving it a read.
Character design was good and his perfect intelligence is good too, but the story is not up to his intelligence ability. Like when he is irritated by backstabbing he could have just searched for soul cultivating techniques and developed an ability like soul seal or something. As he has perfect intelligence he should develop his own sect or an intelligence organisation. He is doing nothing noteworthy of his intelligence ability, killing someone, slaughtering disciples, and causing troubles here and there he should at least change his body or something by disguising at least, but nothing. this novel is also just the same old novel like others despite having one of the best abilities there.
TRASH!!! Author is also idiot. MC uses his golden finger to empower a girl named Sol, whom he knew nothing about still trusted her, that too after he learned from his pas life that no one should be trusted. Sol presence becomes annoying, then there is news about his little sibling as his mother is pregnant, I am sure little sibling will get full benefit from MC's golden finger. MC who is so attached to his family, sibling & even used golden finger for them as little known Sol, how can such a person act Villainous!!? Author don't understand Human psychology & doesn't write novel from reader's perspective.
I really like this novel. But the updating stability is the reason i didn’t give it five stars. Like i understand that the author has his own life but when going on break a note about it would be very much appreciated. Sorry for bad english
Starts off a little slow and can make those looking forward to an evil MC feel slightly disappointed in the first 28 chapters but then gets progressively better in the second arc. Now at my current chapter I am finally getting those Reverend Insanity vibes that I was looking for which is great since 😈. Once I start building my coins back up I will use them exclusively for this story along with power stones and Gold! 😎 Author is also a chill writer who takes constructive criticism very well which gives me confidence that he will survive the horrors or the comments sections 😱🤣 Keep up the good work mate 👍😉
definitely a cup of my tea after 30s chp. mc is really a villain thx goodness , I'm so tired of faked ones .. thanks author
It was so good at the beginning 100 chapters..though the first 1 or 2 chapters were idiotic...but then it became good..to my liking...but than i don't know why..mc starts simping..well not simping probably... But what do u call it when mc kills his faithful subordinate of 1 year just because he knows too much...and afterward gambles his life because of two senior sisters whom he met for a few months and they only followed him for his skills?? Two were not enough ..another one added on senior sister the list shortly..it was then that i dropped this.. It is hard to find novels to one's liking.
it's a good novel . The story sounds reasonable and the pace is also good . The mc is strong , knows how to behave .
when is mass release?? I want o read it all [img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
ahhhhhh, i thought his parents will die at some point but no...... meh for a villain and all that evil jazz , he is more of a normal cultivator in a sense, come let him lose some things ahhh
Membuka SPOILERThis is a gem. The mc is not a simp and does everything to get stronger, but does not become irrational killing machine. The power system is simple but with nuance. Also, I like that unlike some novels there is character development. I really hope the author finishes this story!
Hey anyone who is cought up with the series. I have a question did annie gets free beacuse i just feel really bad for her and I am just curious
I loved the start of the novel, but the 1st volume is the only volume I finished reading. And this is a review I'm writing afterwards. The plot is the generic. He was transmigrated as a baby and was born to a mortal continent. But 'surprisingly' his family has a deeper background. His father's family comes to find them and cripples his mother. His assistant who he was with his entire life, betrayed him (he kills her). And guess what the MC does? He goes with the people who crippled his mother and grows up in a den of snakes. This is my personal opinion but, choosing to grow up in a family that crippled his own mother? Fu**ing disgusting. That's it for me.
Membuka SPOILERTo give an idea of where I am before reviewing, I am caught up to the current chapter 314. The world is well thought out showcasing how big it is and gives a glimpses on what lays beyond. Does well to not stay too focused on one place where it feels like we only see a small part of the world where the mc is at. It does its job which is to make you interested in learning more and seeing the mc travel there. Characters are well done. Side characters have enough depth and in later chapters a bit more focus to keep the story from going stale. The main character(Ken) is well done, he grows from his mistakes or events that happen and it isn’t like how some novels make the mc frustrating dumb to grow from but more like small slip ups that you may or may not see coming. It has stayed true with him being calculative and manipulative but he isn’t emotionless he still will care for his family and a select few ‘friends’. It is fun to watch him plan and the fight scenes are great. Overall great novel very select few things I don’t like at the moment but it depends on how the story progresses or handles it. If it sounds good based on my review you most likely will like it👍
First two volume was great. I liked his ruthlessness and cold-calculating character. But the 3rd volume made me regret reading it. I started reading this knowing that mc is not an emotionless or extreme like fang yun but he will be cold and calculative. And he really is. 1 and 2 volume - it was good. In first volume mc start manipulating his parents but after seeing their love he start to care for them. His maid's betrayal also teaches him a lesson which inturn makes him more ruthless as shown in volume 2. Him killing a disciple just to hone his skill was epic fully showing his selfishness, Not feeling any gult, knowing his place and his goal. True villain. Volume 3- true disappointment. After death of jane and diana , ken goes on frenzy killing. Disregarding his safety / plan/ reason he became public enemy of whole continent. You know how stupid it feels when a guy who plans to create war among sects, who manipulated a young girl to give her luck and kill her own parents then disregarding her , who believes everyone is selfish and to prove that he made a girl kill her lover, he who saw his mother who loved and cared him for 6 years being crippled for his mistake still kept level head, he who killed his own sect disiple just to hone his skills , who don't give a sh** about human lives became frenzy just for two girls who he just met 3 months ago. "I have read similar concept and understand what you want to achieve. Challenging same stage people and killing them infornt of their sect elders , creating a technic that absorb other's qi for replenishing your own just to have inpurity, creating chaos in war which make the elder broke all the rule just kill mc cause he is soo talented, own force betray the mc and call him a evil cultivator, after a milestone mc opens a secret realm and become it's inheritor. A very powerful elder comes to end mc's mesable life acting like this is the most holy thing he would do in his 10000 years of life just to see mc vanish in a second ago before his power connect. And then comes the dialogue -'NOOO' as if everything is over. Then begin the chase. Elders shows their hypocrisy telling all the sect member to hunt mc acting all holy. All those who go after mc dies and mc comes out more stronger. But everything turn out well as a powerful master then choose the mc and eveyone just grid their teeth. " I wanted to write more . But this will be enough for today. I still will not drop your novel and will come time to time to show my dissatisfaction. The writing above is common troupe in a cultivation novel with antihero hero type mc. I am not saying this is bad actually. Your writing is simple. Dialouge are kind of awkward sounding sometimes . Ether way i would recommend you to take a break and expand your imagination. I came here to see a villain not an antihero. If you want mc to do this kind of things then remove the villain tag and add antihero. There are many things doesn't match with your first 2 volume. Hopefully after chapter 114 i might find some plesent surprise.
