The prince chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Not in the slightest. Storms are a common occurrence; it is the pirate attacks that are the real threat." His movement was easy and casual, his arms casually folded across his chest. He had an unusual gait, a sort of swagger to his movement.
"Pirates?" Her eyes popped. "There are pirate's attacks? Even though you are the prince?"
He laughed, a single sharp sound. "It is not as often as you think, and I do not think my title matters much to them, nor do they care."
Of course, they would not, Gwen ascertained. For some, the pursuit of wealth and the amassing of it was greater than any regard for titles or authority.
