Hidan snarled, his scythe swinging around to meet the Air Atronach's onslaught. "Don't underestimate us, you brat!" he hissed, his eyes gleaming with savage pleasure. His scythe clashed with the Atronach's body, sending sparks flying. But the force of the wind pushed him back, his feet sliding on the rocky ground.
Kisame, on the other hand, faced the Frost Atronach with a twisted grin, Samehada gripped firmly in his hands. "This will be interesting," he chuckled, his grin widening into a shark-like leer as he met the Atronach's assault. The blade of Samehada scraped against the icy body of the Atronach, shards of frost flying around them. Despite the creature's frosty assault, Kisame stood his ground, his brute strength matching that of the Frost Atronach.
From the sidelines, Koushin watched the battle unfold, his arms folded across his chest. Yamato and Yugito stood a few steps behind, their eyes darting from one battle to another. Yamato's expression was unreadable, his eyes sharp and focused. Yugito, on the other hand, seemed slightly taken aback by Koushin's audacity, her eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and admiration.
"Your summons are… unique," she admitted, her gaze flitting from the two enormous Atronachs back to Koushin.
"Thank you," he replied, his voice filled with pride. "Took a while to train them. But enough about me. Let's focus on our dear friends over there."
Back in the midst of the chaos, Hidan was struggling against the Air Atronach's relentless assault. Despite his fervor, the force of the wind was proving a worthy adversary. He grunted, his scythe slicing through the Atronach's body, but the creature merely reformed, the wound healing almost instantly.
As for Kisame, his fight against the Frost Atronach was equally challenging. The frosty titan lunged at him, its icy fists landing heavy blows against his defense. Kisame, in turn, retaliated, Samehada slashing and gnashing against the Atronach's body. The mighty blade absorbed the frost energy, feeding Kisame's already vast reserves. Yet, the sheer physical power of the Frost Atronach was a force to be reckoned with, keeping Kisame on the defensive.
"Well, well. Atronachs, was it?" Kisame's voice cut through the chaotic noise of battle, his grin still wide on his shark-like face. "They're impressive. But let's see how they hold against this." His hands flashed through seals, water spiraling from his palm to form a massive vortex. "Water Release: Great Shark Bullet Technique!"
The vortex morphed into a giant shark, its watery maw wide open and headed straight for the Frost Atronach. The Atronach roared, meeting the water attack head-on. But instead of faltering, the Atronach seemed to strengthen under the aquatic onslaught. The water absorbed into its frosty form, and the shark bullet dissipated, leaving the Atronach looking noticeably more robust.
Kisame blinked, taken aback. His grin wavered, replaced with a scowl. "So, water feeds the ice, huh? Guess I'll have to try a different approach." He changed his hand seals, the resulting jutsu completely different from his typical repertoire. Flames flickered to life in his palm, growing in intensity. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
He blew forth a massive fireball, the heat radiating off it contrasting with the cold air surrounding the Frost Atronach. As the fireball met the Atronach, steam hissed and smoke billowed, obscuring Kisame's vision. When the smoke finally cleared, Kisame noted with satisfaction that the Frost Atronach had been slightly melted.
Meanwhile, Hidan found himself at a similar disadvantage. He stood at a distance, panting heavily. His eyes flickered to his opponent, the Air Atronach hovering before him, completely unscathed despite his relentless attacks.
"Damn it," he spat, wiping sweat from his brow. His eyes hardened as he glanced at Koushin, a spark of defiance igniting within him. His hands moved through seals, summoning a jutsu he rarely used. "Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!"
The ground rumbled as a dragon made of rock and soil emerged, lunging at the Air Atronach. The Atronach spiraled out of the way, its form becoming a whirlwind that dispersed the Earth Dragon. But as the dust cleared, Hidan was already preparing another jutsu. "Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique!" He spat out a volley of small fireballs, each homing in on the Air Atronach.
The fireballs exploded upon contact, causing the Atronach to momentarily falter. But as the flames dissipated, the Atronach reformed, seeming more agitated than before.
Koushin watched the spectacle with interest, his arms crossed and a smirk playing on his lips. "Well, they are certainly persistent," he commented, earning a nod from Yugito.
"They're Akatsuki, they won't go down without a fight," Yugito added, her eyes never leaving the battlefield.
Koushin hummed in agreement, observing how Hidan and Kisame began to coordinate their attacks. They started alternating between Fire and Earth Releases, the combined assault gradually overwhelming the Atronachs.
Hidan, despite his usual recklessness, started aiming his attacks more strategically. He targeted the Air Atronach's core, where the swirling wind was most concentrated. The repeated onslaught began to chip away at the creature's stability, making it more susceptible to Kisame's fiery attacks.
Kisame, in the meantime, had gained a better grasp on his Fire Release. His attacks, though lacking in finesse, were effective. The heat gradually melted away the Frost Atronach's form, reducing its size and sapping its strength. Even without Samehada, Kisame was a formidable opponent.
