The ambush to the Demonic Realm ended on a good note. Although the troops from the Heavenly Realm failed to exact control over all the Demon King Palaces, they caused enough damage to the majority of areas.

The consecutive setbacks in recent months were sufficient to impede the movement of the demons.

For now, the world was at peace.

Within the Heavenly Realm, though, a brand new kind of storm was brewing.

"In a way, this is a blessing in disguise," the Heavenly Emperor mused as he sat on his throne. "Jianyu's gender is exposed, but we manage to pin the blame on the First Demon King."

Xie Jianshen raised his head and stared at his father in bewilderment.

"Father, Little Yu's position is in jeopardy. Are you not going to do anything about it?"

The Emperor sighed. He stepped down from his throne and strode toward his son.
