Bab 56: EP 53 -THE KINGDOM OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS.
The ship finally docked at the port.
"Well that is the last time I'll ever travel by sea. " Percival rubbed his face." I hate the sea, it makes me sick."
The Captain shook hands with each of them although Conrad offered him his hand , rather reluctant thinking to himself "I wondered were those hands has been". He thanked them for saving the rest of his Crew as some men passed by them , carrying the body of the young boy without the head as it must have fallen into the sea during their fight.
As they climbed down, a large swarm of people were waiting and cheering for them , both children and adult . Horses broke through the crowd, neighing As they came to a halt. Three Carriages had been prepared for their arrival as up to a dozen armed guards surrounded the first carriage. A blonde haired lady came out of the carriage dressed in nobles finery. She bowed low and greeted the adventurers.
"Welcome." She saluted. "To the Kingdom of the Northern Lights ."
"We thank you for summoning us, humble adventurers , to your marvellous kingdom." Levi took her hand and pressed a kiss to it and the Royal Lady smiled.
"How is it that you always find time for flirting?!" Conrad asked.
"Trust me. There is always time to flirt." Levi patted his head.
"You are so going to hit that." Avyanna said elbowed Levi and he grinned at her.
They were ushered into the Carriages with Kyra and Levi to stay in one while Avyanna , Conrad and Percival to be in the other.
Their journey started quickly for them to head towards the castle.
Kyra mind began to wander and tensed as she realised that it was only she and Levi that were in the Carriage. He was sitting really close to her this time and she felt heat sear through her.
A boy and a girl...
Him and Her...
Alone...
Together.
It was a dream come true.
She shifted uncomfortably as the butterflies in her abdomen started up again. Though Kyra silently wished that It was Conrad that was here at least she would had been herself. She was also loving the attention she was getting from Levi.
Levi shot her a harmless smile. "Thanks for getting us out of that mess back there with your beautiful and smart idea." He stared straight at her making no move to break eye contact.
"It ...was nothing!" Kyra muttered trying to avoid his gaze.
His leg brushed against hers and Kyra melted at his warm touch.
"Ugh." Eva groaned and Su ling winked.
Kyra averted her gaze by looking outside the window of the carriage at the natural scenic beauty of the plains, valleys and mountains. A cool wind blew into the Carriage but did nothing to cool the tension that hung in the air and also in her.
He was just so handsome, Kyra thought against her wish. His dazzling eyes and broad shoulders .
His tightly lined abdomen was to die for not to talk about his lips...
His pillowy, dreamy lips...
She was jolted out of her sensual thoughts when Levi held her hand softly and brushed her red hair over her shoulders and smiled . Her hair had now grown back , fuller and richer than before. Kyra wished that he would just take her on the Carriage right there and then.
"I hope I'm not making you nervous ?" Levi had leaned in and said in a seductive low tone as his lips slightly grazed her ear.
This was close...
Just too close!!!!!
She nodded bashfully . Their Carriage was suddenly jerked violently as it struck itself against a large stone. The two individuals in the Carriage were jostled by the sudden movement and Kyra fell forward.
She recovered and found herself lying, across Levi's legs and he was grinning brightly at her. He warm hands were over her shoulder and finally rested on her her back and Kyra blushed as hard as ever...

Conrad looked out the window as a huge , largely lit palace came into view.
"Have you ever heard about the Northern Lights before?". Conrad asked Avyanna who was now cleaning her Katana stained with the Blood of The Scylla.
"Never heard of it , even in all my travels. though it feels very peculiar to me."She replied.
"Actually I've read a lot about this kingdom from the scrolls in the Archives." Percival joined in the conversation.
"Archives?" Avyanna looked up from her work.
"Back at the temples. There was this huge Library with various Records and writings. I was able to take some before I left." Percival fumbled with some scrolls at his side and took out one. He rolled it open and showed it to Conrad. It gave visual sights of the Land's topography and other important landmarks.
"It is a majorly known by its Aurora Borealis also known as the Northern Lights which is its main attraction." Percival explained as if he was watching it presently. "A beautiful phenomenon that is truly inspiring with green and blue merged as one. It is a beautiful sight capable of setting one's soul ablaze."
"Have you ever seen it up close?" Conrad asked.
"Of course not .That would be preposterous." Percival cocked his eyebrow at the man by his side. "Its written in the scroll , right here." He pointed to it.
Their Carriages finally stopped and they alighted. They all stood in front of a magnificent palace decorated with various statues and jewels. They were taken into the Castle in order to have word with their queen .
lt was custom to do this in every Kingdom of monarchy." Sky added.
Numerous guards where aligned by the halls waiting for their arrival. The Noble Lady had stepped into the Court and directed them to follow.
The members of THE ADVENTURERS SOCIETY stood in the Court as the preying eyes of the courts officials bored into them .The royal courtier came in , A short stout man with red hair sticking out from the sides of his head and his main head was shaved off.
"I Present to you The Ruler of The Northern Lights, The Crowned Queen : Erylis Viralaine ."
A beautiful young lady with large brown eyes and Slender fingers that suited her perfectly. Her cheeks were red such were more pronounced at her beautiful skin. She walked with elegance and grace and took her place on the throne.
"Welcome all." She announced in a beautiful voice that echoed throughout the hall.
"Thank you. "Avyanna and the others bowed.
