Cael dodged the punch with a slight tilt of his head. Then he threw his own.

Dieter gasped soundlessly as Cael's fist hit his stomach, shattering his magic barriers. He staggered back, breathless, but still standing on his feet, and looked at his older brother in disbelief.

"How… How can you be so strong? You didn't even use magic…" Dieter's face contorted with anger and pain. He lowered his eyes, muttering under his breath. "This is so much more strength than you had before… You didn't just overcome your weaknesses, you probably overcame almost every living mage in our world. With that strength, are there any problems that you can't solve?"

Cael frowned, looking down at his brother. "What are you talking about, Vit? I've spent years doing nothing but trying to solve unsolvable problems."
