Bab 362: No friendship there

With the enemy sled moving directly away from Luna and Ginevra, the distance between them stopped decreasing so swiftly. Luna got as close as 30 meters to the enemies before the bald one outstretched his hands, throwing the first spell.

It was invisible to the eye save for the slight wobble of air, but Ginevra felt the mana within and its fiery nature. Something of the fourth level, but not aimed directly at them, to her surprise.

Instead, the two meters wide wave flew into the snow and towards Ginevra's sled, leaving behind a deep trail of melted, steaming water.

"Ah! We are going to sink!" Luna exclaimed, slowing her footsteps. "Ginevra—"

"Keep running!" Ginevra barked, then turned to her enemies. "Heat? So you are a fire mage, too? You think that your fire magic is more powerful than the ice of the North Pole?"
