"Wh… wh… what are you doing?" The demon looked at me as he watched my magic flowing around him. "What do you think you're doing?"

"I'm showing you what you clearly didn't see on your own." My words seemed to vibrate through the magic that filled the cell.

"Hey, don't let her do this to me. Stop her! Hey!" He was yelling, screaming for Rudy or someone else to come in and help him. 

"They can't hear you. Do you see that light shimmering over there? The glow around the door. That's a barrier. Nothing in here can escape, and that goes for sound, too. My magic is contained, but so is every sound you make."

"Th…they can't hear me?" There was a strange look in his eyes as he took in what I just told him. "Like, nothing at all can make it out of here?"
