"Talia!?" I heard someone calling out to me. "Are you with us?" Mr. Amadeus was looking at me with worried eyes and Alexio seemed to be in a near panic.
"Yeah, I am here. Why do you ask?" I didn't understand what was going on with them. Why were they looking at me like that? "What is the matter with the two of you?"
"What is the matter with us?" Alexio sounded worried about me. "What about you? You just sort of zoned out. It was almost like you were in a trance. Amadeus has been calling your name for almost five minutes."
"He has not." I scoffed at his words. I have been here and listening this whole time."
