Bab 148: The Master of Lavatri ap Tewdwr

Healer's Keep was eerily quiet as Lavatri stepped inside. Its entire inhabitants were attending the funeral of baby Shi and Reeve.

Amidst the echoing sounds of her footsteps on the walls, Lavatri could hear the echoing footsteps of someone else. She stopped abruptly and turned around.

Her eyes widened as she saw one of the Gamaaloth knights following her from behind. He had the unmistakable appearance of the Gamaaloth people - tall and muscular, with chiseled features and platinum-colored hair.

He continued to approach Lavatri with steady and determined strides, even though she had caught him red-handed.

Lavatri's heart skipped a beat, unsure of the knight's intentions. "Who are you, and why are you following me?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Lavatri's feet trembled as she took a step back, consumed by fear. However, the young man seemed unperturbed by her fear and continued to approach. As he drew nearer, Lavatri recognized the man as one of dragon riders.
