Bab 58: Welcome to Tornbridge Fort

"Where should I hold on?" panicked Sophia, scanning her surroundings.

"Anywhere you feel comfortable and strong enough to support your body," Ragnar replied, flicking his tongue again before they leaped upwards with astonishing speed.

Sophia's heart skipped a beat for a few seconds. Her body hunched forward, lowering herself as she embraced Ymat's neck.

Her hands searched for a narrow gap between Ymat's large scales, gripping tightly onto it.

In that moment, Sophia clung to the secure hold, feeling the powerful muscles beneath her fingertips. The rush of wind and the exhilarating ascent filled her senses.

Ragnar chuckled at her overwhelmed state, finding amusement in Sophia's endearing reaction.

Sophia didn't even have time to feel angry. She composed her breath, which had momentarily stopped, and slowly rose against the strong gusts of wind that buffeted her face.
