Bab 70: Caution : Noah's Revenge Part II

"Why should I come closer?" she asked, her voice steady despite the fear that engulfed her. Grace knew better than to trust Noah's manipulative tactics.

Noah's eyes narrowed momentarily as he realised Grace's wariness. He quickly adjusted his tone, attempting to sound more persuasive. "Trust me, Grace. There's something you need to see up here. It's important," he urged, still pointing at nothing on the ceiling.

Suspicion gnawed at Grace, but her curiosity began to overpower her reservations. She cautiously took a few steps forward, keeping a safe distance from Noah.

"What is it? Why do you want me to look there?" Grace asked as she saw nothing up there.

Noah's smile widened, victorious as he sensed he had successfully piqued her interest. "Sit over here," he commanded, suddenly pulling Grace onto a wooden chair. He swiftly handcuffed her left hand to the chair, leaving her feeling trapped and vulnerable. "Good luck!" he taunted.
