Bab 111: 111:Nothing left in me

"Arghhhhhhh, " Serayah screamed in pain. Chained down in shackles in the transitional space in the dungeon of the palace. 

The chains were strengthened by god magic hence they held a divine being like Serayah. I stared blankly at Rezelna's daughter as she let out her pain through her screams. She didn't seem as mighty as advertised. 

"Stop it, please, " Rezelna's pleas hit my ears. I turned around to the cage behind me. Where Rezelna rested, enduring far more pain than her daughter. "Your fight is with me, let my daughter go!" she barked orders. 

Sadly, this wasn't her palace or her kingdom that she could command. I watched her struggle to break free from her chains. 

I tried to find pleasure in their suffering, to be happy that my enemies were on their knees in pain. However, that is one other thing that was snatched away from me, the ability to be happy.
